One of the nicer things about the 21st century’s digital cinema revolution is the promise of more, strange low and medium budget movies. When a decent youtube trailer gets more viewings than most small science fiction movies got in the 1970s, you know that times have changed, and in exciting ways.
So add to the unusual, the unusually titled LOVE — which seems to be a science fiction movie about loneliness on a space station, the world ending, and… slow motion American Civil War sequences?
I’m not sure how all of this fits together — frankly, the way most trailers spell out everything for you, I’m glad! — and I’m very intrigued to find out.
LOVE is doing the rounds of a few festivals, and is slated to release on DVD come March 22nd, 2011.
